Community Partnerships for Health Equity

MEDICC’s Community Partnerships for Health Equity (CPHE) promotes outcome-oriented research in Cuba for collaborating community health organizations and health sciences faculty from underserved areas of the United States. 

The Partnerships explore the lessons of the Cuban experience for addressing key health issues in these communities by traveling to Cuba for action-oriented research.  Their aim is to develop replicable local projects in the United States that have a direct impact on health and health care in minority and low-income areas.
